After escaping her cage and coming back out to the kitchen, my parrot is on her rope perch and exhibiting all of the classic signs of a bird about to go to sleep. Eyes closed, standing on one foot, grinding her beak, and making happy cooing sounds.
I feel guilty about wanting to put her back in her cage. She seems so content where she is.

She definitely needed the sleep for all the excitement she had!

What a beautiful bird, I never had birds I can't stand seeing them in cages as they are made to fly.
