What's wrong with the young ones?

Is it really necessary to insult the young ones? Should young ones not entitle to give opinions just because they know much? Why do people need to brag how smarter they're from anybody? Does it mean that if you know much it means you know everything and makes you a genius? Does it mean that personal experiences would be the same with everybody? Why do people not respect other opinions?
Oh well, that's life. Forget everything.

We are entitled to our own opinion, that's the fact, but you cannot also other people's attitude especially when they thought they are wiser because of their experience, just go with it, flow like a river, don't stop to voice out your opinion but of course with respect.

@ilocosboy Yes, charge to experience. Actually, I'm planning to deactivate my account but I don't know the deactivation button and then someone replied.

We are all here to express our thoughts, we came from different countries, came from different groups, been through a unique experiences and struggle in life, so we should not expect that all of us here have the same opinions and same appreciations in every story of each one. So for me, others might right but doesn't mean it's right also to you, it's a case to case basis. Not all advices fits to everyone's problem. Don't worry everything will be fine, let's say it's part of your journey in this site. I personally do not underestimate the knowledge and ability of young ones today, actually most of them are brilliant.

Well, all those questions will be answered when you get to my age ..lol .. meantime, just enjoy the "ride" ... It will be a bit bumpy, but it will smoothen out .. And don't stop asking questions ...
Anyway, Now that I am a grandma, I am learning so much from my grandchildren .. Young once are smarter than what the adults give them credit for..

Yes, the young generation today is smart because of the technology but I know the old ones are smarter not only with the IQ but also in terms of experience it's just they live in different generations. But about the post, I'm not actually questioning who's smarter it was just a heated argument that I've encountered here. Hehe.

@epiffanie But she butt-in on my own comments she involved herself in my own comments I just gave my own insights and personal experience about the topic and answering what she's implying to. I told her that I respect her own opinion but she kept insisting that I was wrong and didn't respect my insight about the topic and we kept exchanging messages until she said that's the thing with the young ones, they don't know much and I told her what's wrong with the young ones and then she blocked me right away.

Hello @rheicel Some people can't help it, regardless how smart they are, some people requires great deal of maturity and wisdom to properly use and share their intelligence.

Well I love being around younger people. It would be a boring place if I could only talk to people of my own age.

I had my fair share of not so nice comments, I just ignore them and move on responding to other discussions.

Is it really not acceptable every person has his own opinion you should consider all so that they will get motivation and one or the other way they know how to catch up things right.
If you don't then it certainly demotivates which is not good for his career.

In one way, our ego gets boosted up when we come to gather more knowledge and we consider ourselves as genius and others as illiterate or something else. This is the main problem with everybody. Having ego, we do not tend to listen to others' opinions, rather we try to put our own opinions and want things to happen accordingly.
Especially with the younger ones, it's their learning phase and they feel like they've known the world better whenever they come to know some new facts.

Most of the time young people just have no clue what they are talking about and do not have the life experiences to be well versed. It does not mean they are stupid. It does not mean that older people are automatically smart. But...yeah...it's life.

Well, i am new here, i hope that won't happen to me. In order for us to avoid misunderstandings, we should have an open mind about everything. That way, younger people can learn from older members and vice versa.

It won't happen to you just be cool when you encounter grumpy people. Ignore them and end the discussion right away if you couldn't handle the argument already. But if you stand for what you believe in then fight for it but in a nice way and just respect their opinion too.
