What do you do to relax?

What do you do to relax at home? I am very stressed out. Nothing seems to relax me. I tried to listen to music, to read, to play with my cat. I am still very stressed out. Weather isn't good for me. It's very cold and cloudy.

Since I am a Massage Therapist, I relax by massaging it gets me to focus on the muscles. But for your case, maybe try a Swedish massage? It is light touch and really relaxes the mind, body and soul. I also go out for a walk, hiking, to the gym and listen to instrumental music to set my mind at ease. Hope you are able to try some of these! Everyone is different so I hope I am able to help you out at least a little bit!

I listen to music or I sketch. Sometimes I dance with my daughters or play.

I get antsy being stuck inside when the weather is bad and unfortunatly it is very cold here most of the year and I get terrible cabin fever. To relax I read. Lots of people swear by exercise.

Talk to your friend over phone or go out with a friend . Also you may try to sleep.

I sing out loud to music, usually listening to songs that are positive or inspiring. Also a nice soothing tea is a safe bet or even just lying down not to necessarily sleep but just close your eyes and work on breathing techniques

Pray, meditate, walk, listen to music. It doesn’t always work, but more often than not I find my stress level diminished. I haven’t had a full-blown panic attack in months.

For me, usually I relax myself at home like watching movies. Sometimes listening music or read books since I love reading of almost anything. Oftentimes, I go out with my friends like dine out together, strolling around or go bar to drink some and watch live band.
