Seems like the Grimm continues to follow me around waiting for me to slip up to take me away smh. This last weekend was a long weekend and I decided to take my Viking Yamaha Boogie up to the mountains for some mud sport.
I arrived well but I as soon as I unloaded my boogie off the trailer I noticed it wasnt braking enough so to make sure I took it for a quick spin and and surely enough the brake lines werent functioning and I almost flipped over on a curve. Luckily I had the hand brake and I just slid into some grass but it could have been worst. Luckily I didnt take it offroad into the mountains.
I left it at the Yamaha dealer for them to check the braking lines and fluids just in case.

Well glad you are alright. Stay safe and be careful. Besides why in the world did you get on the bike if you noticed the brakes weren't good. Your guardian angels will become angry if you make them work overtimes. Wishing you all the best.

I mean they were working but I wouldnt have been able to tell without taking it for a spin. It wouldof been worst if I was in the mountains riding through mud and hills with no brakes

That is good that you didn't discover that in the mountains. Hopefully it gets fixed soon so you can enjoy the mountains again.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX My worst one was when I was 11. I was riding a 650 BSA Triumph when I hit some soft sand. Laid the bike down on my leg; of course the side with the burning pipe. 3rd degree burns. Dad waited a week to take me to the ER because the leg was pussing 'green'. I almost lost the leg.

Good thing that you had not taken it out further and were injured even worse where no one would have been able to find you. Take Care of yourself, and be Thankful

@BACONSTRIPSXXX If you had the need to block the car quickly it would have been a serious problem.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Years ago when I didn't have a ton of money I had a know it all mechanic put brakes on my car. He said they were fixed. I got onto the highway and no way were those brakes fixed. Freaky. I managed to get the car back to him and get them fixed properly.
