How well do you know buildings in your town. there are many fine buildings. Some I have not seen and some I have seen. Concord,NH the capitol and never been in it.Why I am not sure. But my favorites though are the gazebos.I loved them and have seen many. the photo is one of them.We have quite a few here and there. Plus we have many cupolas right in my town and never paid any attention to it. Comes down to this. How well do you know your buildings. photo is mine.

This gazebo is very nice. I live in the center of an old city. I know all the monuments and I visited a few interesting homes from the 16th/18th C.

My city's pretty big, so there's a lot about it that I'm still discovering. For example, even though I've lived in this area for over 18 years, I only just visited the Winchester Mystery House for the first time last year. It's a major tourist attraction due to the architecture and crazy story about why it was built this way -- Sarah Winchester, heiress to the Winchester rifle fortune, felt that she was cursed and had to keep her house under constant construction in order to keep the curse at bay. The construction went on for 38 years, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It is quite an impressive house, despite the fact that some staircases lead right to the ceiling, and some doors open to walls.
The world famous Winchester Mystery Houseā„¢ in San Jose, California, is an extravagant maze of Victorian craftsmanship - marvelous, baffling, eerily eccentric, and undeniably, haunted. Wander through 110 of the 160 rooms of this Victorian mansion, designed

@amadeo I've been dropping hints to the family that I'd love to take one of their Halloween candlelight tours as a birthday present this year. There's a movie in theatres right now about Mrs. Winchester and her mansion (titled "Winchester", of course), but I've heard mixed reviews about it. Apparently it was filmed in the actual house, so that's pretty exciting!
