This time last week I had just had a snow day off work and we were snowed in at home. No shopping for me last weekend as we could not even get to the car on the drive let alone into town to spend any money.
Not that we needed to go out at all anyway so it saved us time and money in the long run.
Going out this morning I remarked on the fact that there was absolutely no snow left at all ...even that which had previously been piled high.
Yes, it was nice to look at but not so nice to go out in.
I can easily wait until next year ( or the year after ) , until I see snow again !

I live in south west England and we don't usually get much but even we got a few inches this year. I was amazed at how quickly it thawed; it didn't even get to that horrible slushy stage which I was thankful for. I think it was gone in around 3 days for us.

That is a great shame .....I hope that one day you will be in a country that can show you snow ...it is very beautiful . ( when it is freshly fallen ) .

I know we went thru the same thing. Last weekend was snowed in til Sunday & this weekend it's been sunny and in the 30's. Our snow is not all the way melted but it is getting there.

I live on the Atlantic Coast of Canada and we get what I call "chasers" It will snow about 30-40 cms then rain 30-40 mls. It always ends up a slushy mess that freezes overnight. Very treacherous indeed.

I always thought it would be great to have a lot of snow but since being on myLot I've totally reversed my opinion.

It looks good in the pictures lol But I have read enough from those live in places where they have snowfall that its is hella bothersome.
