I don't remember when the last time I read the novel. It's very boring for me to read it whereas my elder used to finish a novel.
This is because they never had picture unlike the comics we used to read in the childhood. There were lots of characters which were my favourite.
Do you like reading novels? Or are you like me who avoid them?

@mydanods I can't sit for a novel hours and hours...and that's story about imaginary characters and event.why do I want to waste my time on this?? Reading itself is boring for me most of the times.i'm not against for this.I tried once but not worked.so this is my opinion.

I like reading books such as novels but they should catch my senses. Not all novels are nice to read for me. I have a specific genre. I like reading novels because it gives me the opportunity to imagine them if they were to happen in real life.

@sjvg1976 I like fantasy, romantic, and mystery. Something that gives a good twist in the main plot.

I am an avid reader. I love good literature such as George Eliot, Leo Tolstoy and Shakespeare. One of my favorite novels, and I recommend that EVERYONE read it, is "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley. What inspired me about that story was the "Love Story" that is hidden in plain sight throughout the book. :-)

I would say I am the opposite. You might be reading the wrong genre though. Try reading something you have an interest in. If you have no connection to the characters it can be boring.

I read one novel after another, to me, well.... I picture a character as how I think they would look just by a short description and if the author uses that character in more novels, even better for me.
To read, for me, it to escape into someones mind.
