What is the healthy number of hours of sleep for a human body?

I worked in a BPO industry, wherein we always change our schedule every after 3 months. Sometimes we get to choose what schedule we like, there are also times wherein we get disqualified to do so. So, my schedule just changed from 9:30 pm to 3:00 am. I've been working the night shift for 3 years so my body is already used to sleeping during the day. I just had my first 3 am shift earlier and even if I already had 7 hours of sleep I still feel so sleepy and lousy . More often than not even if I sleep 8 full hours or 10 hours I'd still feel the same. Is this still normal? So what do you think is a healthy number of hours of sleep?

I think it's normal. I am also like you. I go to bed at 11:30pm and wake up at 7:30am, still I feel sleepy all the day.

Almost 6 hours of good sleep is enough but by aging we need a time to take off sleep so 8 hours is necessary but sleep in day is waste it will affect our human body

8, but I sleep so much quite rarely. I heard that if you sleep in the afternoon, you should sleep 1.5 hours, or 3 hours or 4.5 hours and soon (not 2 or 4 hours like many people do)

Normally it is 8 to 10 hours. This is when we sleep in the usual time (night). Sadly, working in a BPO disables us to get the normal time of sleep, wherein, the more our body looks for it. Our body would need to adjust to the different times. Either you get insomnia or feel the need to sleep more.
