@augusta123 Yes, and no. I have my last wishes on file with my doctor, but I don't have a formal will made.

Who says that only old people should write a will? Anybody at any age can.

Well I guess you can write when your young but usually it is not as complicated as when you are older. It is okay to start young and revise it as you get older.

@augusta123 Possibly. I can start writing now. We never know what life will happen to us.

Having a will is important, no matter what your age. Whilst we might not like the idea of dying young, there is always the possibility of an accident, and then your family would be left in confusion at one of the most difficult times of their lives. Yes, your circumstances may change, but a will is not set in concrete - you can make a new will any time you want, and it will override the provisions of the old will.

If someone has a wealth, a will should be written when the person is young. I think it is important to think of our future.

I think people should write will when they're old. When young, how can we know how much wealth we will accumulate in our later years. However, we should have nominees while young.

A person can write his will when he/she is young, but many things could happen in the time between writing the will and his/her passing. They could lose all of their assets and not have anything to bequeath. He/she may never have children or other beneficiaries to take care of everything and all his assets are retrieved by the government and sold at auction.
A million other things could happen in a persons life that would render a WILL useless.
I think it is better that a person wait until his life is well established, his estate and assets secured and his family life established before he write his WILL.

It's nice to write a will so we can decide what direction we can go through
