Hello good people,
How's the day going? Mine has been so hectic, I had so much going on for me today, but it's okay. It's one of those things.
Something happened to me yesterday. I got a call from an old friend. We were very close way back in school and would do anything for each other, but along the line we lost contacts after few years that we graduated. She's not a social media person so doesn't belong to any. I tried reaching out, but learnt she has moved to Canada with her family.
Yesterday, out of no where, I got a call from her. She told me what she went through to get my mobile line. I was so happy to hear from her, and told her all that she has missed. We spoke for 1 hour over the phone talking, then it came to the point why she actually reached out.
She said, I was the only one she could trust to do one or two errands for her husband. That she doesn't have any other person. At first, I was mad with her cause I said to myself, she called not because she had missed me, but because she wanted something from me.
On a normal day, I was supposed to be angry, but I remembered how good she was to me. All the sacrifices she has made for me so I chilled and did exactly what she wanted.
The thing is, it didn't matter what she did these past few years, but it was all about her personality. She's one person that I can really count on.
Life lesson learned: As a person, loyalty is the greatest gift you can give to yourself. If you don't have anyone aside your immediate family & relations that is loyal to you, then you are missing the whole point of human existence.
How about you? What is the most important lessons you have learned in your life?
Thank you for reading and stopping by!!!

For me, the most important lesson I learned to is not to take people for granted. We only realize that when the person is gone after everything they did for us. Now that there is time, appreciate the people who love and support you. Life is too short to live with regrets.

@ammyluv I agree to that. I hope people will be more aware of this that not everyday we will be with the people we love.

Most important thing for me
Happiness is the journey not the destination!
Too many spend their lives chasing stuff that they
think will make them happy! Work endless hours
in a job they hate to buy stuff they never get
time to enjoy!
Take time to enjoy life, party, and do the things
you enjoy with the people you love! Make
memories for the future and make the best of
the present!

Glad to hear you spoke to your friend for an hour. I did not see my old friends for many years now like 20 years.

The thing I have learned is to show others love and to be an example of love always. =)

I'm glad you were able to help your friend. I guess you will know if she is genuine if she continues to stay in touch.

My bias on life: Always rent your heart to someone you have faith upon. But don't give them the key to own your heart. That way we will be free from risks of heartbreaks and won't be an bad eye to our supporters. You are lucky to have a friend like that...have a blessed life.

One lesson I learned is to love yourself first. If you can't love yourself, no one else will either. Loving and accepting yourself as you are helps you to love and accept others as they are. :-)

Each morning is a good time to thank God. Without him, we could never have the strength to handle the daily hurdles. Also no matter how bad the arguments with your family are, they will love you unconditionally!
