I love to travel and sample different foods from varied cultures and countries that I visit.
My latest obsession is sushi from Japan which I have develop a taste for though I must admit that I never thought I would like raw fish.
What new foods have you sampled of late?

I love sushi and sashimi. I too was surprised when I realized how much I liked those but I am picky, I prefer either salmon or tuna the other types of raw fish I'm not so fond of.
I haven't tried anything new in quite a while.

I am not a fan of sushi. Though I love their maki, tempura, chicken teriyaki and their fried pork chop, their term for which I forgot though. They are one of those Japanese foods I love .

Of course not, in fact sushi with fish is really delicious, but don't think of radiation you will eat very comfortable.

I love Thai food.
The first time I was in Thailand I was teaching in a Bible College, staying at the college and eating with the students. They voted me an honorary Thai because I loved their hot food. But one day they caught me. It was a green papaya salad, which sounds very innocent, but it had whole peppers - the little, really hot ones. I got one of these little monsters. Because I was with the students I couldn't do anything gross like spit it out, so I had to eat it. Tears streamed down my face. The students all laughed like mad at my distress. Still, the experience didn't turn me off Thai food, though I would prefer it not quite that hot.
