Long Distance Relationship

How many are members here in a long distance relationship? Me and my girlfriend are in a long distance relationship for 4 years now. It is not necessarily 4 years straight of long distance. She works on a cruise ship. Her contract lasts 9 months and vacation for 2 months. So basically, we only enjoy our company for 2 months and it's really hard. You guys? How do you overcome the long distance relationship?

I have experienced LDR for 3 years and it is hard because you do not really get to see each other that much and when you are in pain, your partner is not there to comfort you. It is hard. It just stopped when he went here to be with me for good.

at least technology helps, unlike before when people mailed letters and made long distance calls.
and 2 months vacation is great compared to others that's only 1 month or less because of budget constraints.

If you trust each other and your love is true ...distance doesn't matter.....

I experienced long distance relationship with my husband before but just for a few months, it was kinda hard in my part because I can not sleep at night without him my by side until i used to it, also knowing that I will be with him soon.

A little bit of absence makes the heart grow fonder, as when you miss each other there is something new to talk about when you next met.

Right on the mark bro. When the time comes when you will finally both see each other, that's the sweetest feels you will ever have.
