Good morning, dear friends.
As I opened mylot this morning, I discovered that I was over $8.50. Considering that there are 11 more days to go, I know that I will reach this month´s goal and maybe I will also earn a little more to make up for last month.
Ten dollars is not a lot of money. In fact, I cannot buy much in my country with that. But I save it all in pay pal and take it out once a year when and if I go to a vacation. $120 means something then. And if I earn a little more, it can be $140 or even more.
I do the same with the money I have to live every month. I have a pension and some money that I use in a small part every month. I do my best to use it only up to a certain amount. I don´t want to have big money problems when I get older.
Do you live with a budget and save as much as you can? What is your small luxury?

I used to be a person that saved everything all the time but I realized I was missing out on enjoyable things because I wouldn't do anything with the money I saved...at all. I have let go now and do things with my family with whatever money I make since making memories with them is super important. My children will only be young once.

In my case, money has not made a great difference as memories go. I am very close to my daughters.

@marguicha Well of course it doesn't always take money but sometimes it does and I wasn't letting go enough to enjoy doing things, like going to museums and such. =)

I am constantly saving in an account, that is used for immediate needs. Twice, I replaced a computer, another time, a printer that stopped working. This last time, I had to pay an unexpected medical bill. It's basically used like an emergency fund, nothing else.

I have a credit card but I pay it in full each month. I feel I will use it in times of real need.

@marguicha That is a very wise idea, to have it available for emergency purposes.

How much money do you need to live for a month?
$140 is more than enough for a single person to live one month,

I get together $120 or $140 online in a year, not in a month. In my country, I need at least $1000 a month to live. Life is expensive here.

Am on retirement and get a small pension so am on a pretty strict budget. My small luxury is getting a little something each month. Ice cream or chocolate usually.

I´m on retirement and also have a small pension that my husband left. But I mostly live taking a little from an inheritance my mother left me.

I like within a budget as in India there is no pension for the unemployed and it's not possible as our population is quite large.
