“Do you spend money like water on something?”

It was nice to spend money on something which we think essential to our lives. If we found a milk cow, then investing money to it is a good idea. We finally secured our future. On the other hand, some people squander their money over luxurious things. The worst situation, others love to spend money like water beyond their means.
“Have you ever seen people who spend money like this?”
“Do you think we need to spend money in a form of rewarding oneself?”

That is what happening in India today...there are many financial companies giving loans for anything and young couple in order to have a luxurious life they all have the things purchased through them and they are left hardly with any money after they pay their monthly installment towards the loans and they have miserable life! I never like this and liked this...I was never beyond my limits and I have spend on luxuries only when I felt that I am financially secured! Thanks @Shavkat!

@epiffanie I am hoping for that, my friend. I need to work on it. It is better to do it and feels sorry afterward.

I will admit that when I have money, I tend to be a bit of a squanderer. It seems like there is a long drought and when the money comes in I spend it! I am not crazy though..I pay what I need to first. I would like to be able to save more though.

I am not that perfect person. During the old days, I am quite compulsive in buying things. However, I need to control myself because expenditures are increasing. I think most of us had been this kind of situation. Thus, we still need to consider of saving money.

yeah I am a true believer of myself. no seriously speaking, before I used to ignore what myself wants but I kept on working and earning money.. until finally I realized that why am I depriving myself of something I want .. when it is myself who is working so hard to get that money. So no I save and I go for traveling during long breaks. ha!!!

It is only necessary that we reward ourselves, but not to greater heights or to the point that you will spend more than what your earn. Spending money to Reward ourselves is to remind us that we deserve it after working hard. Some just went too far on spending.

I think it is nice to get some things we don't need now and then but I am a saver not a spender. I did buy my daughter boots and tickets for us to go to a concert neither of which was really needed but I save plenty so this was a rarity.

I am learning on saving money. When I don't need it, I won't buy it.

Some people do indeed squander their money. The ones that annoy me are those who buy things but don't look after them so they might buy a bike or a car but then don't keep the bike out of the weather or don't maintain the car as they should.

Yes sometimes, I spend money like water on luxury things and cosmetics, if I already bought those basic needs. I always separate wants and needs. Especially, I am the breadwinner of the family.
