Happy memories

I have a favourite corner where I reminisce. This morning for reasons not known my memories took me to my dear mother and how dutiful she was towards her children - a brood of 9.
There was a programme that she followed to the 't' Once a week she would oil our hair with coconut oil. Once a month she would give us castor oil to clean our system and once a year she would treat us to a worm pill.
With little money she managed to give us snacks every evening. There was a special place where she kept our plates and our eyes - just from returning from school - would go there Sometimes she would tease and the plates would be empty just to be filled after the teasing session was over.
I can go on and on..........................

@allknowing I agree. Sometimes we still remember the good times when my late father still alive. His photos always had memories to tell.

What a lovely family photo. I come from a very small family so don't have anything like that but my dad kept an album of my sister and myself as children and I love looking at it especially our family holidays. My parents are both gone now

I have many albums after I got married - loads of them.mostly of holidays. All those kids are achievers. The one who is hiding her face is a business woman. There are two grand mothers too (lol)
