this morning when I got up, I got to thinking about my favorite movies. When I was growing up mine was Wizard of Oz and still love it.
Later in my 20's I added Cabaret that movie with the daughter of the girl in Wizard.
Then You've Got mail when I was in my 50's. these are movies I have watched many times. only ones I do.
what about you? do you have such a movie?

There are definitely a few, There's "Murder She Wrote". That would have to be the list for me. Several of the Disney movies. There are probably a few others as well. The Poirot and Miss Marple, featuring David Suchet and Geraldine McEwan. But these are some of the main ones.

@bunnybon7 I don't watch movies often, when I do get the TV it is normally when they go somewhere in the day to give me some me time, then I'm cleaning so I put on music and at night I'm normally here.

I've probably seen Casablanca and The Ten Commandments that many times. The first two Godfather chapters, too (I've never seen The Godfather Part III all the way through, though).

i had most of those on VHS tapes. lol. now I have only a few on DVD. no place to put all those big tapes so got rid of most. I still have a VCR somewhere here. why i hate change. as soon as you get a collection, its all obsolete.

I watched You've Got Mail once and it was good. Most movies I will never watch more then once but The Wizard of Oz I have watched dozens of times and it's always as good as the first time I watched it. When my daughter was a baby we were shopping at the mall and they had three of the remaining munchkins there doing a meet and greet. I set her on the table and had him hold her up for a photo. It was such an exciting day for me.

I have several. I like Cabaret. But my all time favorites are Casablanca, Gone with the Wind and Pretty Woman. I loved THE SCENE of You´ve Got Mail. But the rest is forgettable.

yes, and with me i think its the music that makes those more memorable. except I will admit Gone with the wind has more of a great true like story, plus i had an awful crush on Gable most of my life

Back To The Future Part 1 is something that is captivating to me every single time I've seen it and I must have seen it dozens of times. Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory is also quite enthralling although I've also seen that so many times. I find Gene Wilder absolutely enchanting in that film.

@bunnybon7 I didn't like the Depp version at all unfortunately. I thought it was uncomfortably odd and not as amusing as it was trying to be.
