Let's talk pet hates - what really annoys you?

If there's anything that gets my goat, it's rude people, people with no sense of etiquette whatsoever. I'm not saying you have to be posh or have the manners of a queen or that sort of thing, I mean just common decency like the simple thing of saying thank you, please etc.
I particularly hate it when I hold the door open for someone and they waltz straight through, nose in the air, not even a glance my way as if I'm the door lady just waiting to wave them through.
What really annoys you? How do you do to stay calm and not fly off the handle when you're confronted with the situation?

What bothers me most are the people who think that they are the only owners of the universal truth. They have no respect for other people´s ideas, cultures or beliefs. All dictators are like that and many of the people with power.

@TiarasOceanView Hahahaha very true. Not classy at all. I just switch off when someone starts doing that LOL My eyes literally glaze over and my yawns come fast and hard

When they go and literally dump their own shopping almost on top of yours and try to barge in as if to say I was there before you.
But now I take their shopping ahd shove it back further that makes their hair curl a bit.

There are those who also pack their shoppiing baskets right at the end of the counter too and everyone else has to wait while they do and stand talking to the Cashier girl as well as if she has not got enough to do.
I put all my shopping after I have paid and put it back into the trollery take it outside and then put everything properly into bags that way you don´t bother anyone.

one thing that really grinds my gears is someone who always talk about themselves, you bring up a subject they always have to relate it to themselves. these kind of people always have a story to tell no matter the subject, there is always a story that relates to what is being discussed if you get what i mean. they also have a tendency of knowing everything and that can be quiet annoying because nobody likes a know it all

@Chazzygal what I find disturbing is that even as you keep yawning loudly, they keep prattling on blissfully unaware of exactly how boring they are. They love the sound of their own voice so much they think everyone is dying to hear what they have to say! Truly baffling!

So many things! People who lie and it's obvious they are lying, bad manners, snobbery and people who make my granddaughter cry! I'm fiercely protective of her!

What annoys me is when I'm with someone or call someone on the phone and they just talk and talk and talk... About themselves! They don't ask me about my day or if they do and I'm about to tell them, they quickly divert the conversation(??) Onto themselves and don't let me get a word in edgewise.

There is nothing that annoys me like someone who always twists the truth and always negative, taking behind people's back.It brings the worst out of me.
