I Gave Up Mylot Time

At one time seems I could do it all, well I was doing it all, and I seemed to do it all just fine. But this past month I have found that I just don`t have enough time.
When Nuime stopped paying I just about stopped blogging, I felt lost without that me time to write. Then I filled that time with other things.
Now other things are filling my writing time I had reserved for myself.
This week I have had to give up mylot time several days, I cleaned out a huge closet, mowed the grass down at this place and I am home canning " meals in a jar" for those days I have to give up cooking. I also picked all the greens/ Kale before I mowed them down for the garden to be plowed and I am canning those.
I read a few pages of the book " Don`t sweat the small stuff" and I have to tell you, some of her advice is pure bull crap. Yes this or that does have to get done or it piles up, so yes I do get the small stuff done as well as the bigger stuff. I can bet she has never been a woman alone working two jobs to make a good living for herself.
But today I plan to buy seed and kill unwanted weeds with all natural stuff, I need to finish cleaning out the new dog area and get some type of fence up. BUT I will mylot as I take breaks.
Have you had to give up something to do other things?

It's a part of my life story. lol. At the end of the day I always figure you know, it's fun here and all. But life is still going on outside of it, and for whatever it is worth, the real world is still far more important than this world. We always do eventually find our way back, and so it goes.

Yes I do know the real world is more important than online life.I would be in the poor house If I depended on online money.

Real life activities be they chores or fun should always take precedence. Unless being online is a matter of financial necessity or job, it is just a tool or place to kill some idle moments not an obsession or substitute.

I don't give them up per se, I just put them aside for the moment. Priorities always take precedence.

Sure there is always need to give up something to achieve another. Well as for me I had to give up writing to perfect graphics design. Upon perfection of designing I resumed writing and I am doing pretty well

Since I retired a few years ago, I can call my time pretty much my own, but things do come up like trips to Portland for my film hobby that take me away from myLot and my ping pong games too.
