Off hand, the one book that I remember was Shane by Jack Schaefer. I liked many of Sidney Sheldon's books, and of course if you can withstand World War II history Leon Uris' books. Personally, you are equipped now to read Arthur Hailey's "The Final Diagnosis" and "The Money Changers". Jeffrey Archer would be my favorite. I love his "The Prodigal Daughter".

@thesupersingh Read Leon Uris' Mila 18, and QB VII. If you are ok with reading Harold Robbins, try "A Stone for Danny Fisher". I cried my heart out when I read "79 Park Avenue". I was young then. LOL. I gave you more title because you may not find many of them easily.

One of the best books I've ever read was "Sweeney Todd". The original title of the novel was "The String of Pearls" and it was written in the 19th Century as a serialised story appearing in one of the Victorian periodical magazines. Nobody knows who actually wrote it and it is actually believed that it was written by a number of different authors, each writing one or more of the serialised pieces. Even so, it hangs together really well as a single novel and is definitely worth reading.

It really depends what you want. If you are looking for a good novel, I like almost anything by Wilbur Smith, Jeffrey Archer or John Grisham. In non-fiction, Learned Optimism by Martin Seligman is good. Those are just a few. And, of course, you could read my novel Next Year In Huntsville (written under the pen-name of Grace L. Sutherland.)
