“What works for you may not work for me...”

Some people cannot get this message. I had some close friends who tend to be persuasive with their opinions about something. Personally speaking, it is better to give such opinions and let someone does his or her final judgment and decision. If they cannot persuade you, then the evil side of them come out and tried to pull you down. “Did you ever experience being nibbled?” “Are there any friends who tried to be all-knowing?” Image Credit: innerself.com

Hahahahaha. Shavkat, I know people who are like that. Those people who think they are always right and will impose their views and opinions and others. You are not alone.

I am quite frank with these people. They need to stop. If not, they can have the biggest regret of their lives. It was not a threat. It is just simply being me.

@Shavkat Sometimes it is good to give people a dose of their own medicine "para magtanda". Hehehe But I like that you are frank but still knows how to stand your ground. Some people dont know their boundaries.

@mlgen1037 I agree. Some people are so insensitive and in denial at times. That doesn't for me, either.

I agree. Perhaps they cannot surpass their own personal issues and try to persuade others.

Maybe these people are always self-righteous. They always think their judgment is better than others.

There is nothing wrong if they do. As long as it is not overrated.

That's very true, survey sites work very well for me but most people I meet online say that they seldom qualify for them. So I have every reason to believe that what works for me may not work for others!

@Shavkat Actually I made that comment in light mood but the fact is that the world is full of so called knowledgeable people who think that the world be lost without them.... avoid them.

I do agree on that. There are surveys that show that unison is not attainable for people to be. Thus, God created us with uniqueness.

My friends tell me ME!! But i dont mean to be that way. I just always feel the need to give advice when someone tells me a problem!! Sometimes there is a such thing as the right opinion!!

I think it is fine to give advice if he or she asking for. But then, we still need to understand if they didn't take it.

This happens a lot. I have friends who have this idea that if it isn't their opinion, then it is not valid. I think that is a very shallow way of thinking. You can only try to make people understand and still have in mind that everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Hey! Great post! I think people always relate to their own experience when they advice others, but problems can only be solved by objective and solid analysis in my opinion. Sometimes, all-knowing ones can cross the line and not in a productive way... And they don't always have the best intentions... They tend not to think about it, vut do as their instinct tells, and this is not the solution... Anyway, you are great and your posts are so nice! :)

Thank you for appreciating my post. I just want to make the message to come across. Some people forget the fact that they need to think before giving an advice.

Sometimes people think they can solve your problems for you. I try not to give advice now. I might say what I think but then don't say any more. And that way I can't be held responsible if things go wrong.

You have the best point on this. I sometimes gauge people if they really need an advice or accept the advice. If it is determined, I don't bother.

There are those who just happen to think they have all the answers, and others who simply want everyone to be like them. I think it is right to suggest that what works for one does not always work for all.

They are all around. If I give an opinion I am asked for and the person wants to argue, well...I'm not Socrates. I walk away. If you only want to argue, see ya later.
