Just an excuse to post a photo of lambs at play

It’s over twelve months since I posted a similar photo to this one but I thought you might like it. We will be in South Australia in a few weeks which is where Vince took this photo. Some lambs were playing on a fallen tree and even one of the ewes was getting in on the act. The little one on the ground had just slipped off but luckily wasn’t hurt.
We will be visiting our god-daughter in Adelaide. She and her sister were only baptised when they were just entering their teens so they chose their own god-parents. One chose Vince and the other chose me so they are special people to us. Vince’s god-daughter now has three incredible children. While we are there Vince will give a talk at the school about his visit to Nepal. Another thing for us to look forward to.

@JudyEv hopefully the car gets fixed soon, and you have a good trip. Is it some problem with braking or rough start, or some other issue?

@sunrisefan This is true but in Western countries sometimes the godparents have little to do with nurturing their godchildren as they grow. We have tried to stay in touch with these girls and they mean a lot to us.

By refusing, you simply do not want to be branded as "old" Ms. LT hehehehe! On serious not, ideally the godparents at baptism of the couple should be the godparents/principal wedding sponsors so they continue as second parents to the couple in the same way that they are second parents at baptism to help the real parents guide the baptized child/children.

@Bullshark I count to 100 in French and if I'm not asleep by then I count backwards. Then I do the days of the week forward and back and the months. You are SOOOO lucky that just four little sheep do it for you.

Cute! I'm amazed at how agile those lambs are.
Your God-daughter sounds very special indeed... enjoy your trip. Does Vince like to do speaking?

@JudyEv yes, play is part of the life cycle of almost all animals, we love it I quess because we see a little bit of ourselves in them

@louievill That's true. When they are playing it is as if nothing is going to go bad in their lives.
