The last two days we have had storms roll thru but they are saying tomorrow it is to be nice. So hoping it is nice out as it is yard sale time! The town over has a town yard sale every year on the first Saturday of May, and I'm so excited as this time I will have the energy to go and walk the town and do yard sales. I did go the last few years but felt like crap and had to take a lot of breaks I hope that I'm healed enough that I don't have to take a lot of breaks!
Have been working hard at school work with Tessa, and we are getting there. If she keeps up as she has been she should make it and get thru it all in when school ends. For whatever reason they are now repeating the things she learnt during the start, well at least for Social Studies, Science and Math. Maybe they ran out of things to teach? I do think the things they are repeating isn't needed and think they should repeat the things that will be used in real life but it is what it is.
So do you have plans for the weekend and how is it going in your neck of the woods?

Fingers crossed you don't have to take lots of breaks when you hit those yard sales tomorrow! I haven't been to a yard sale in a long time. It's fun when you find good deals! Maybe I should hit the yard sales on the weekends to look for more paranormal romances to add to my ever-growing collection...well, when I can walk again.
Hmm...that is odd about the lessons being repeated. Maybe it's supposed to be a refresher?
No plans for the weekend here, unless I feel up to venturing outside my apartment and going over to my parents' house to see my brothers on Sunday. But I'll see how I feel when the day gets here. I really don't like going up and down those stairs.

I did pretty good, was pretty tired and had some swelling the next day, but I made it and got some great sales! I so hope you heal all the way this time, well if you would stop hitting it and tripping Ms. Grace!
Yeah I'm not understanding all this repeating and on things that will not be used.
I don't blame you on not liking to do stairs in a boot. Be careful!

@Ithink Woohoo! Glad you found some great sales. Yes, I need to keep injuring myself! I am always going to be paranoid now when going down my stairs, even once I'm healed...this is not the first time I've fallen on them, just the first time I broke anything!
That is so weird. If they're going to repeat things in their lessons, it should at least be something useful that will be actually used in life.

@Srbageldog I was able to give Tessa a new wardrobe, which she needed and give all her clothes she has grown out of to her cousins so that works.
I would be paranoid too, I hate our stairs and it was so a pain when I was still hurting from the surgery.
I would think like in Math they would repeat multiplication, division, heck even fractions but nope doing shapes and grids.

I hope it is nice out so you can go, and definitely hope you can walk around easily.

I agree the schools should teach what will be used in life.
