Movies you never tire of

Some movies I can watch over and over again and never get fed up with them. I love the Shawshank redemption and also the Green Mile and each time I watch those films I notice a little bit which I had overlooked before. Some people don't like to watch the same movie more than once because they know what's coming and that spoils it for them. How about you, are there movies you never tire of or do you not watch one a second time?

I liked Clint Eastwood movies but never found Charlie Chaplin entertaining. He was a funny little man

@sprite1950 , That funny man used to leave a message for humanity at the end of his movies which used to have much impact...at least for me...that's why I like his movies! Thanks!

@sprite1950 Ferris Bueller's Day Off was very funny. Mathew Broderick at his obnoxious best. And the Principal who comes to the house terrific!

Shawshank Redemption and Green Mile are perhaps two of the best prison movies ever made. I also like the classic Count of Monte Cristo. Movies are made to entertain us. But the movies you mentioned further pan our thoughts to more serious stories that dampen the lives of many people. Makes us feel a lot blessed, whatever our circumstance in life might be. These movies are depressing but really good. Personally, I did watch the movies again and felt a certain degree of awe at how the ending turned out to be. But I will have second thoughts watching. I am up for feel good films. Reality is already mind boggling.

@nela13 It's lovely. It's about a little girl and her best friend but really sad in parts.

Yes, I can watch a movie again. I have a high tolerance for repetition when it comes to cinema. The 2 you mentioned I have watched numerous times. I also watched Goodfellas, Casino, and The Godfather. Perhaps being half Italian has something to do with it, lol.

Goodfellas is my partner's favourite movie but not really my thing. I do admire Robert De Niro as an actor though.

@sprite1950 Yes, De Niro is one of the best. He was very good in those comedies with Billy Crystal "Analyze This" and Ben Stiller "Meet The Parents."

Like you, I often notice things I didn't not notice first time around so mostly I never mind watching a movie a second time - but it does depend what the movie is.

I rarely view a movie more than once as there is always a movie I have not seen. However, I would select Casablanca and Miracle on 34th Street.
