What is the world coming to these days? I was doing some basic cleaning of my car, and had returned to my house to get some car polish, when I spied a nine-year-old in the drivers seat, trying to drive off with my Nissan Xterra! I snapped this picture before running down and reminding said nine-year-old that we had only an hour to get some swimming in.
Fortunately, I had the keys in my pocket, and he didn't get far. We had a good time swimming, and I turned him over to his mom just in time for his Judo lessons. I'm off to play softball tonight, and hope to get a little MyLotting in before I sleep. Apologies to those whose comments I have not yet responded to. It's been a busy week.

@TheHorse Ah, and then as I read on it became evident - that he was just having a laugh. That's cool.

The real question is what happened to his daggone clothes? Or was he stealing the car to get to a Goodwill to buy some? But if he could not afford clothes in the first place, how was he going to buy any? There is so much to this story that is missing.

I would have handed him the car polish and told him he will have to polish the car to earn the privilege of driving it...in 10 years.
