Is this a picture of joy, or what?

A friend of a friend said "Its all about the moments." As individuals, we all pass on, and hope we've had some good times, and some positive effects on others.
The other day (at the preschool) , I found two of my favorite 4-year-olds hanging out in the outside hammock, having a conversation about nothing in particular.
I snapped this photo while they were not looking, and then moved on. Of course, they asked to see it, and decided that they both looked happy.
Can you remember moments of joy in the sun? It doesn't matter whether they're from childhood or from five days ago. I'll go with my most recent visit to the pool with my young neighbor buddy. I didn't bring my camera, but the memory lives on in my mind (and his too, I hope).

That is a wonderful photo. Always makes me wonder what it is that four-year-olds talk about. I cannot remember that far back. If we will forget for a moment what we really look like then that could be a photo of me and my best friend from grade school when we finally get together this summer when I return to the states. Most likely I will be heading to Florida where she lives.

Awwww - isn't that sweet? Seeing pure joy in children is precious - and you sure captured it here.
I just transplanted some strawberry plants an hour ago - under the late afternoon sun - I was at peace doing my bit of gardening while Hubby was napping and the kids were doing their own thing!

It looks like the beginnings of a lasting friendship between these two youngun's.
My joy moments are few and far between, but they are vivid in my heart and memories.

Lovely picture. I have so many moments that I reflect back on with joy. Doesn't matter whether it is a sunny day or a rainy day, the joy can be found.

@TheHorse there is a peacefulness the snow can bring as it falls gently from sky. Driving in it can be challenging though.

@ElusiveButterfly I always drive 4WD vehicles, just in case. But I love sitting and watching snow slowly fall.

These are the best times, we had ours this morning with my 10 yr old grand daughter helping me make breakfast, she was decorating the pancakes with chocolate chips while I poured them onto the pan and then every bite she took she would close her eyes and say they were the best ones yet. lol

What will you be doing there? I love when we are the only ones here and can have peace and quiet and it seems so refreshing but weird. I was hoping that all would go somewhere else for Shabbat and Shavuot but then thought they probably have people here to study with.

When you have the privilege of seeing life through a child's eyes, those really are the most precious. It reminds you to "not take life so seriously".

I love the photo!
A few weeks ago, my kids and granddaughters came over for a visit. My grands are ages 5, 22 months and 18 months.
I hadn't planted my flower garden yet. I let the little girls dig in the dirt and play with the flower pots. They threw dirt everywhere, and got it on their clothes too of course. It was wonderful and well worth it!
