Morning at the Hospital

This morning was my session at the hospital, my injection for colitis. It was a pretty uneventful three hours. In fact I slept through it for the most part. They give me Benadryl and Tylenol before every infusion, which is why I sleep through it. It was actually good to sleep this morning as I was up at 2:15. At least now I don't need a nap.
Everything went well until I left. I made a grand exit by tripping off the curb and landing on my posterior in front of my car when they brought it to me. I've been very careful about curbs since it was a curb I fell off of three years ago and landed in the hospital for a week, having a broken leg at that time. This time the only thing wounded was my pride. Though I might have twisted the right knee this time as it is a bit difficult to walk, but not too bad. I'm not taking myself back to the hospital to find out what I did to myself this time. At the most it will cost me a day at the pool tomorrow if it's still giving me trouble.
Above is my beautiful wrist bracelet, showing where I was all morning. Now, my plan is to get the notifications done and work on a book, though I might need to put my leg up, which means the recliner. We'll see how it goes.
So, that was my morning. How's your day going? Thanks for reading.

Glad you weren't seriously hurt when you fell. Hope you don't have too many aches and pains either.

Take care. I don´t like hospitals, but many times it is the only thing you can do. Why do you have colitis? What is the diagnostic?

Thank you. I'm almost finished with the notifications, then I'll be taking to the recliner with ice. Looks like I'll be using my cane the rest of the weekend.

I had the second part of my root canal done and then met with friends for lunch. I had to pick the dogs up at the groomer and then home.

do you keep your wrist bracelet for souvenir, or you throw it right away?

@ridingbet They make it so loose it was easy to take off. Nobody likes to be reminded of being in the hospital, unless it's for the birth of a child. I do have those wrist bands in my baby books.

In a way it's related, as that was the first of three accidents I had with falling. I have bad arthritis, so it doesn't help. It's getting better now, more every day. It will never be pain free because of the arthritis, but it is bearable.
