It is past 6pm and I am waiting for the couscous to be done in order to serve LUNCH!!!
I had to cook several things in between, some with leftovers. Andrés came with his whole family, dog included. I had to give orders and explain rules. They had eaten an empanada but did not remember to buy one for me. So their tummies were filled and mine wasn´t
I cooked some weenies, toasted bread, and now, while I write this post, the couscous is telling me that it is ready.
I´ll talk later. The world is coming to an end.

Mostly the idea was to work, but with his wife, his teen age boy (he helped him, a 2 year old toddler AND a dog, if is just too much.

An empanada is a sort of pie filled with minced meat and other yummy things. It can perfectly be a lunch, if eaten at the right time of the day.

Is Andres your handy man. That is how I understand (lol) Good that your guests ate well. I feel happy when they do that

Andrés is my best friend´s son. They are in Chile for a short while. Meantime, they all live with my friends and Andrés does small jobs to have change.

@nela13 I have the idea that young people are less thoughtful. Besides, they has a toddler and a dog inside the car. I would not have been able to think at all then

It was very nice and filling. But Luna´s house will not get done today, and maybe not ever if Andrés comes only at wee hours.

How rude of them to show up at your place without lunch?

They were not rude. Andrés was coming to work and would take his biggest son to help. He was supposed to come earlier. But things got tangled and they are like family. I should have known better and made a sandwich for my after a certain time.
