Food Cultures

In many countries today, particularly in the west, we are blessed to be able to choose between foods from a vast variety of different cultures. But what if suddenly something happened and you had to choose the food from just one culture to be all that you ate for the rest of your life? Which culture's food would you choose? I think I would go for Thai. I love the flavours and the spiciness of Thai food - although rice all the time could be a bit of a problem.

I can't eat spicy foods like I used to so Chinese food would be my choice. From fried rice to Won ton soup, noodles and chow mein, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, honey garlic spare ribs...I couldn't get enough of it. Lets not forget the Singapore Sling!

OK, demonstrating my ignorance - what is different about Southern USA food from Northern USA?

Chinese would be a good pick since the country is so vast and the choices would be endless you would not tire out or have food fatigue lol, every region, province, city or county has always somerhing different or special to offer.

I've only had Korean food once, when I was in Malaysia. It was very yummy!

probably chinese, since i can't eat spicy food, though i'd have to learn to use chopsticks! i'm asian so i can eat rice every day, but i won't mind noodles for a change. i like pasta and bread, too.

I did learn to use chopsticks, but haven't used them for quite a long time so have probably lost the skill.
