A rushed morning

One Sunday a month I do Church@TheMarket - I have a stand at our local market with magazines and tracts, and a banner offering prayer to anyone who needs it. This was that Sunday. Of course, markets mean an early start. I only use my alarm clock on market days, and it is normally set for 6. For some reason, earlier this week I had reset it for 7, and then forgotten that I had done so and not set it back. So, when I went to bed last night, I clicked the clock to "alarm" thinking it would wake me at 6. When the alarm went off this morning, I almost hit the snooze button, but I needed the bathroom so I staggered up. Suddenly I realized, Hey, it's way too light for 6am! Sure enough, when I checked the clock it was 7.05. Then it was a mad scramble to get dressed and out the door in time to get to the market. Fortunately all the gear I needed was either already in the car, or in bags that I just had to pick up and go. Next time I'll check that the alarm is actually set to the right time before I click it on!

That's such a cool thing to be involved in. It sounds like you needed that extra sleep! Although I am sure you'd prefer not to rush.
