It must be the season of bananas because my dad just brought dozens of them. We have trouble finishing them so far we have added hem to soup and in the picture we fried them with flour.(pinaypay) Do you have any recipes for saba banana?

@Jessabuma we have tried that once, the banana chips, but we really need to slice them very thinly so it won't be hard to eat

We call it halwa. Mash the bananas and add equal quantity of sugar. Cook on slow fire until it becomes sticky, Add any flavouring and pour it in a tray that is buttered. When cool cut it into pieces.

@lady1993 You need to add some ghee or butter at the end before finishing the stuff. The indication that it is ready is when the stuff leaves the sides of the vessel. Good Luck.

@lady1993 There are people that when the bananas get mushy they make banana cream pie. I love to buy bananas and eat them in my cereal.

I like bananas shakes. Banana, milk, cardamom and a little sugar in blender or mixer. It is healthy and I love to take it in breakfast.
