I was just listening to this, my first ever YouTube video, and was amazed by how good it is. I'm one hell of a good songwriter.
But my dear friend Vanny, who is Indian, complained about my "American accent," and demanded that I post lyrics on subsequent videos.
Hell, I have no accent. I'm American! So tell me: Are the lyrics in this one so dang hard to understand?
"Moth Song" by Colin H. Sacks Colin H. Sacks - vocals, guitars, bass, mandolin Recorded by - Michael Stenberg A song about falling friendship........ Like an...

I used to work at a call centre where I dealt mainly with American customers. After work I'd go home and speak with an American accent. Sometimes the New Jersey accent, sometimes the Boston accent, sometimes the Mississippi, Kentucky, Louisiana and Georgia accent...
Lets just say that my family didn't recognise or understand the person I had become.

@TheHorse lol I go to MS and all ask me if I'm from CA. I ask why and they say they can hear my accent. I didn't know CA has one. When I get back from MS, I'm asked here in OR if I'm from the south. It takes awhile to go back to my own that I don't have.

@TheHorse No link my friend coz I don't post online. It's just a compilation for myself and was used for some organization gatherings before. I can only composed when needed for some occasions and times also when I am in extreme emotions. That is the saddest and the happiest point in my life. Good luck my friend and hopefully you can have more.

Since when did "dear" become part of your vocabulary...may be you are controlling some obnoxious word there..evil grin.
You forget ..for us Indians yours is American accent...
If you heard me talking without practicing those lines...you would pull your hair ...I really talk like a typical south Indian. Ask Porridge. Porridge has a better accent.

It sounds good to me. Understood every word even tho' I'm Canuck. Maybe Vanny doesn't understand American Poetry.

@vandana7 I think that happens everywhere Vanny. I understand your plight. It's like when I call customer service regarding my "Canadian" phone or internet account and reach someone in India or the Philippines whom I can't understand for the life of me. "What you tryin' to sell me dude?" is what I'm thinking.

*grinning at you* I am happy to note that you are still the same shy, introverted and humble pony I've gotten to know and.... like on myLot!
I don't hear an accent and had no problem understanding the words you sang. *shrug* I have no clue what crawled up @vandana7's tush, but if you don't want her to resort to that makes-your-eyes-water screech, I suggest you post the lyrics.

@DaddyEvil Yes practiced a lot...because I did not want you to be laughing at Indians. I even sent it to sound head master Pony to get him to say it is ok...he did not. I simply did not have any more patience so I sent it anyway.
As to bet...both of us bet equally...you will lose everything...whatever you are wearing as well. LOL
STATUTORY ADVICE...
Confirm from Porridge before you bet...she has spoken to me. We want to spare Americans some indecent exposure.

@vandana7 The sound bite you sent me was practiced? I've told you that you didn't have an accent (to my ears or Pretty's ears, for that matter).
Hmmm... how much are you willing to lose on that bet?
