FIONA's UGly: "Is SHE?"

Most of you know that Fiona is a leading lady of Shrek's movie series. I do love the movies and the characters in them. I hope I may not sound bad with this story of mine today. I had my last class online last night and the English name of this young girl is Fiona. It is quite disturbing because she does look like Fiona as a fairy tale character. I have this thought that humans can look like cartoon characters. It cannot be denied that some apps can turn humans into such images. In my own opinion, she took the character’s name because of being alike in terms of facial features. It is a way for little girls to be like princesses or princes in Disney. “Do you think Fiona is pretty as the Disney princesses?” “Did you dream to be like your favorite cartoon characters?” Image Credit: littleshopofhorrorscostumery.com.au

Well my favorite Disney character is Mickey Mouse so ummm No, I don't wish to be like Mickey but I think Fiona is cute in her own little way and she has a charming personality along with plenty of humor. There is always more to a person then looks.

If Fiona is real, I want to marry her. I think she's the perfect one for me, considering her good qualities.

I think she is quite pretty for an ogre as they are usually not pretty at all.

@UmiNoor The ears are a bit unusual but the rest of the features are pretty nice.

A person who is pretty by conventional standard may become ugly if she behaves in an ugly manner and an ugly person by conventional standard can become beautiful if she's likable. Beauty is after all in the eyes of the beholder. But personally, I believe Fiona is beautiful by orgre standard but she's a likable character so she is beautiful to me.

It is a typical thing to consider as you had explained. This is the character portrayed by Fiona before being cursed as an ogre. At some point, it also becomes a stereotype concern nowadays. At the end of the story, she turned out to be a good ogre and embraced to be one.

More to life than looks and that is why every cartoon doesnt look like barbie because not everyone is skinny and perfect. So more girls love themselves instead of a doll.

I do agree with that. It shouldn't be insinuated to be somebody or something. But then, there are some young ladies went under the knife to be like Barbie's. I find it weird or strange in some way.

In this movie, it does implicates the indifferences in terms of facial features. If they exist in humans' world, then we can still see beauty from within and it radiates the beauty to the outside physically.

Fiona was a beautiful princess who was under a curse to get image of her first kiss. Shero kissed her and she becomes she sherk. My favourite disney character was Goofy when Mickey, Donald and Goofy works together; and Donald Duck (solo). I have nothing to do with them more than my entertainment.

They do entertain us. I think it is common for girls to dream of being one of the Disney princesses. On the other hand, Princess Fiona was being cursed due to her bad attitude.

I always thought both Fiona as a human and Fiona as an ogre showed a beauty of heart and spirit that surpassed their physical features.

In my own opinion, Fiona is beautiful from within and it makes beautiful to the outside. It wasn't stereotyping the idea of appreciating the physical attributes.

For an ogre Fiona is beautiful but in human eyes in the animation movie she doesn’t, they curse her right to be an ogre.. but as you can see a lot of people really enjoy the movie and they like it even I really like it, so It doesn’t matter wether she’s beautiful or not as long as they like you.

I do think inner beauty still the best thing to consider. I am not into physical attributes. It would be better to have the inner beauty.
