Pink Guavas

Summer season and fruits aplenty. While I buy from the market, home picked fruit is always better. Our friends who have a farm are generous enough to send over fresh produce . Today's bag contained these guavas which when cut were pink inside. The usual ones we get are white so this was a new taste for me.

I love guavas. I remember picking pink guavas from the tree itself. But the tree wasn’t ours. So I remember running too when the neighbor caught us, naughty kids. Hehe

The vitamin C content in guavas is higher than the amount found in oranges.
