Feeling that you are loved. Feel that you are listened to. Feel they are spoiled. Feeling that grandparents are figures with whom children can always count. These are the benefits to the youngest of one of the most striking relationships that any individual can experience at an early age, taking these cherished memories for life.
I think I’m one lucky because I have a grandmother, she will be 90 in December, but I have good memories of all my grandparents, candies given when my parents weren’t, to play hide and seek with us, the tight hugs … my grandparents were the pillar of my childhood. Today although some are no longer with us, they will always be in our hearts. Happy grandparents day, my dear ones.
Do you still have your grandparents? Do you have good memories of them?

My parents were both orphans when they married and so I never knew any of my grandparents and have no idea what they looked like as my parents don't have any pictures.

I have a grandmother in one side and grandparents in the other
I have a lot of memories of my grandfather. He was a special one... it's 2 years already since he passed away.
That's weird thinking about him. Like he is still here.
At the last year of his life me and him been together almost every day so i guess it was "extra" hard on me.
It makes you understand that maybe you need to be with them even more than you are.
Call them every week and try to keep the connection alive.
Sadly my grandparents live in a different country so we haven't seen them for a while now... and the phone calls slowly pushed away. Becuase... What are we gonna talk about? I haven't seen them for like 2 years. What can i say? What to ask? We don't have topics to talk about.
What do you think... any advice?

I don´t have my grandparents anymore. They reached their 70 or 60s and that was very amazing. I wish I still had them

Ohh, that is sad, it means you don't have many memories of them.
