What is your trusted news source these days?

Ever since Weekly World News closed its doors, I've had a hard time finding a news source I can really trust.
Both the MSM and FOX news make me shake my head and sigh, and I'm left in news limbo. The Huffington Post stuff that comes with my free AOL account focuses on Kim Kardashian and cute puppies more than real news.
I don't watch TV.
I've settled in on KCBS, the local news radio station. Of course they lean a bit to the Left, but their overall coverage is fairly good, and they have a commentator named Phil Matier who is balanced, and analyzes local politics without bias.
Where do you turn to for "real" news?

I tend to have NPR on in the car, although I read news from Washington Post, NPR, and BBC online. I used to follow Al-Jazeera a lot.

@spiderdust What's the channel? If I found a good NPR radio station (that I can get with all these hills), I might leave it there. I get one from Sacramento, but only when I'm East of the Berkeley Hills.

@TheHorse I used to play KCBS more often, but I've just left it on NPR for about a year now.

I just avoid news. I take newspaper to read editorial page with some good article on spiritual things and other stuff. I don't want to spoil my day reading real news and I am not smart enough to filter the spam ones.

For "real" news I always turn to politicians. They are amazing fountains of knowledge, I'm always in awe when they speak... No, no, no, I can't be serious, our politicians here can win a stupidity contest anytime . I rarely watch TV, the news are looking more and more like freak shows to me.

I rely on TV to watch local news. I also listen to BBC news on the radio.
