It has been raining for two days, and it is finally sunny today. I can't wait to go out for a walk this morning.
I walked half an hour to the lake. The lake is very beautiful. Some old people are fishing by the lake. I was attracted to them. By chance, they caught a big fish in a moment.
They say it's the biggest fish they've caught in a week.I'm really happy for them. I can't fish. Maybe when I retire, I will learn to fish.
Ha ha, it is really interesting. This is a way of killing time. Can you fish?

This is really a very good way to support myself. I will depend on it after I retire.

@LadyDuck I dare not kill fish, either. I never dare to kill any animal. I can only eat.

@caopaopao May be it is hypocrite to eat fish and not to kill fish, but I cannot stand to kill.

You're right. Watching them catch such a big fish, I also want to try. Well, that is not easy.

I only tried fishing once and only caught a tree branch that was drifting in the lake

@caopaopao certainly isn't no though I have seen some anglers make it look easier than it is

I was lucky once, to get a bigger fish than the one you have in a that pic. The thing is, someone hooked the bait for me, and told me to stay still, holding it . So when the fish got caught, I realized right at once that I was just lucky that time. (I was only a kid at the time.)

@caopaopao The funny thing is, that night, none of the adults (about 12 in that group) nor teens (several) got a single fish but me! I felt like a hero but awkward at the same time . The next time we went fishing, I got only tiny tiny little fish, so embarrassing! And since then, zero, none, nil, zilch!

Yes I spen my childhood days on an Island and my teenage days right next to ocean so I learned to fish early. When my kids were young I started fishing with them. Haven't done it for awhile but I have to start again.

It's really weird, because in my younger days growing up I used to be an avid fisherman. Every chance I got I was out fishing, both freshwater and saltwater. I could fish all day long and be in heaven, whether I caught anything or not. Nowadays, I just don't have the time for it. And probably more likely, I don't have the patience for it! lol
But who knows, maybe when I retire I can take up fishing again!
