Bumbling Burglars

This post is prompted by the one about home burglaries -
A few years back, the ministry that I was leading had a permanent lease on an old Scout hall in the country town where we were located. Crime in this area is generally rare, but one night someone decided to break in to our hall (what they expected to find there, I don't know!)
What they obviously didn't know was that, years before, the interior of the hall had been remodeled. The wall where the back door had once been had been blocked off on the inside to allow for the building of a kitchen and two store rooms.
So when these bright sparks gemmied open the back door they found ... A WALL!
I would have love to have been a "fly on the wall" to see the expressions on their faces.
After reading an article on home safety I was curious to find out and compare if I was taking the necessary precautions to deter burgulars. How about you?...

It must have been a real surprise for that person! And, yes-it would have been fun to see on tape!

My house was burglarized twice last year after years of tranquility. I then got an alarm system and a big dog. I hope that will help.

@LisaLevesque I love Luna. But I doubt if she´ll be a good guardian. She is too affectionate.

In other words, their crime spree ran into a brick wall!
