Saturdays are usualy when Joe drives me to Chesapeake to do a ladys hair who lives in a rest home over there. The place is 2 blocks off of the interstate that I travel when coming from my daughters so I stopped on my way home yesterday and did it. I thought today would be a good time to come over and spend some time with hubby but that is not working out either. I came in to find him asleep in the recliner with heating pads wrapped around both legs. Severe cramps kept him up all night so he is catching up sleep now. I do not want to disturb him so I will quietly mylot for a little while before I go back to mothers. Maybe I can get caught up with all my notifications. Everyone have a blessed day.

Any idea what is causing the cramps? Hope he feels fine when he does wake up.

@Kandae11 We are not sure but think it is related to his back injury and how it affects his legs when walking down stairs. Walking up does not seem to bother him.

Oh, please tell Joe I'm praying for him. I know you both miss each other when you have to be gone.

Is he drinking enough water? Dehydration can cause muscle cramps, especially in the limbs. Hope he feels better soon.

We drink a glass of V8 at bedtime and it seems to be helpful to prevent leg cramps. This is at the advice of my doctor. I do not know if it would help Uncle Joe or not. Only drawback is if you need to reduce sodium.

Leg cramps are no fun and I feel bad for Joe. Hope he gets to see you before you head out again

Leg cramps are no fun. They used to plague my hubby, but several years ago an "old wives trick" seemed to solve mist of the problem. We share our bed with a single bar of pure Ivory™ soap.

Oh I am sorry to hear Uncle Joe is having severe cramping. I hate having these at night and having to get up to try to alleviate them.

I have been having the same problem for weeks. The doc checked my potassium levels and they are fine, it has to be my back so I am ordering a teeter, I have had back problems most of my life. Does he go to a chiropractor? I used to but stopped.
