Where Were You On September 11th? With the 17th anniversary of the tragedies in the USA almost at an end, I can't help but wonder where everyone was, and what you were all doing.

I was at a workshop at the local college, when the professor stepped out to take a phone call. She came back and told us all what had happened. The ironic thing was that she had just asked us all about our hopes and dreams, and where we wanted to go, and last one to give an answer before she stepped out. My answer was "I'd like to go to New York, and see those big towers!"

My mother was out shopping that day. Our coffee pot had crapped out, and she was at Zellers getting a new one. As the evens unfolded someone switched all the TV's in the electronics department onto the same news station, and her path to where the coffe makers were was clogged by people moving toward the massive grid of TV's hanging on the wall, all showing the falling towers.

So, where were you when it all happened?

I was at school, second shift. We had an English lesson, and our teacher told us the news

I was at work. I watched it all unfold on CNN while I worked.
