Opportunity knocks once, if it knocks the time around, I think it is something that you can claim.

Yes, that is true but how about if it did not work out very well the first time around. Are you still be willing to give that another chance?

When opportunity knocks a second time, you better make sure you learned the lesson the first time. No one wants to make the same mistake twice.

You are right there my friend. So if it did not worked out well the first time, do you think it will work the second time around?

@Starmaiden I agree. Very well said. we have to apply what we learn from the mistakes of the past and not do it again the second time around, not only for love.

@rakski A second chance at love doesn't have to mean with the same person. It could mean another chance at love but with someone new. If you missed your first opportunity, or you screwed it up before it could even start, (you only get one chance to make a first impression with someone) Then if you learned anything from it and a second chance presents itself, you will know what NOT to do and approach it completely different.

If it will give happiness, why not? Sometimes, it is better to analyze things first before you go plunging but there are times when you cant help but go against the tide.

If the second chances have this condition that there will be changes that will be happening in the second time around. I think there must be a reason behind why you left it. So for me to go back to that there should be changes in the way things are going to be.

yes, of course there will always be a reason why you have to go forward. And you are right that there should be changes if you will go with the second chance

I’ve always believed that once a relationship is over there’s should be no second chances. But with my boyfriend we’ve had like 3 chances. I guess compromises can be made for something you feel is worth it!

If it was a good opportunity that you missed, better to be ready to open the door. If you did not like the first time, think twice before opening.
