What made you an avid reader? / myLot

I have seen many people becoming an avid reader due to some reasons like, kindle application , reading blog posts of professional bloggers, getting pdfs of important concepts , etc. These are the ways of the modern period that have made many people readers. What about you ? What are the ways you became an avid reader?

I really am not an avid reader. I just read whatever's interesting for me. But sometimes, I still get bored.

It's hard to be me.

I became an avid reader the. day I learned how to read at age 4. I've been reading ever since, thanks to my parents.

I was only 3 or 4 years old when my mother started taking me to the library. I wasn't able to read, but I picked out the book that I wanted my parents to read aloud. When I learned to read and I still used the library a lot. I love to read.

I think I just like to read, I have always read and for me it is not a trend.

I became fond of reading after I realized that through it, I can expand my vocabulary and enhance my imagination as well. I prefer hard copy than pdf or soft copy though. :)
