My lot amazes me

Easy tiger... I am at work and dont have as much free time as I need to get to all of my friends questions... I will get to yours later tonight. I look forward to your posts about real happenings.

Yea it pisses me off. I only post discussions that are interesting. It pisses me off when people ask what my favorite color is. How is that going to make a difference in someones life? I think a bunch of people out there are just trying to make a quick buck and do not want to think about their responses. I feel you though, I know what you are talking about.

AH !!! Boy.... do I know how you feel!!! You look at all the responses and think "What the hell" But................. I have a message from one of my friends, and it seems that www.mylot.com is cranking down on the silly posters issue!! And........ they will looose all their points as well!!! All that will be left are the sensible people !!!! Does that make you feel better? Have a nice day

I know...myself and others have expressed our annoyance at this, i even started the stupidest posts on mylot award topic!...it gave me a laugh!

It's like Yahoo Answers. When there's some incentive to post (even if Yahoo just gives gold stars), it's amazing how many mindless people will post pure crap. Almost the cyber equivalent of speaking to hear yourself talk. Discussion boards on other sites with no incentives (facebook and others) are generally interesting to read and actually string together. Down with the mind numbing posts!

I would respond to your post, but I don't get notify if my friends have a post up anymore. I have to log into mlot and fish around for topics my friends put up. Which is alot to choose from and hard to keep track of which post I just answered. It's just alot of work if you asked me.

awwww... i hear that noise. There is a lot of inane discussions on here, for sure, but even those can be entertaining. And there are a lot of intelligent discussions, too. Just search for more... um.... intellectual or stimulating keywords. You should be able to find some cerebral satisfaction here. =)

I agree with you. I have started a number of discussions of topics that interest me that end up not being discussed at all because no one responds. But someone who posts a really stupid question like what color are your eyes will get hundreds of responses. I think shallow mindedness is a part of this.

well, i'll post on your topics...if you look at mine. no one really responds on mine either. i've tried to post good ones, but...=(

i think silly questions get more responses.but there are some members who often engege themselves in serious discussions.keepon posting and you will get good esponses

I look hard to find good discussions to respond to, I even have some serious discussions that hardly nobody responds to. I wont respond to a discussion unless I have something usefull to say either. that is just me.

Bored? I've just stated my favourite colour for the third time! How can any one be bored with that ... yawn ... zzzzz ....zzzz ..... zzzzz

People are pretty predictable. Questions with short answers, questions about hot topics, and personal questions are far more likely to get answers than deep, philosophical and/or productive questions. Such is life, lol. I'd like to say I am different but since I am multi- tasking and may just not have the time to create such an in-depth response to some of the better posts. Good point though. :)

I know! It seems like the topics that get the most posts are the stupid questions.
