The news that a I follow here in Israel is not only of Israel and the surrounding countries but other parts of the world. If I want to find out more news that I missed I also go to facebook and find out more information there.

Hmm .. your country seems to be a hub of sorts and you need to keep a watch on whats happening around there.. I watch the world news everyday apart from getting regular news clips on my phone too..

@Hannihar Hub meaning -There is so much action happening in that part of the world.. Most news is fake news doesn't matter to which country you belong.. its what the world wants us to hear.. I follow Israel news very closely. there are very good Christian channels which show the world what happens there.. without bias.

@sofssu What do you mean by a hub of sorts in my country? I go to two places where I know I will get the truth about my country and what is going on here. Most news places do not tell the truth about my country and do not write what is really going on and take the side of our enemies.

@sofssu Thank you, but there are many that do not tell the truth about what is going on here in my country. They lie and do not care about the facts or the truth.

I definitely want to know what is going on in all parts of the world. I don't just read the news about Belgium, or Europe for that matter. I try to stay updated on world news.

@dya80dya Yes, I know what you mean about negative news. We have that here and that is why I only follow a couple of places that I believe are fair in giving the news.

What happens around the world definitely has an impact on what happens, or CAN happen in the United States, and so I tend to be very interested in news from everywhere.

@Hannihar It is always best to be informed about as much as you can be informed about. Local and otherwise. Really, when you get down to it, our lives depend on it. I look back at Pearl Harbor, and how much the U.S. wanted to be oblivious to what was going on in the rest of the world. It got us killed. Ignorance is never bliss. It's downright dangerous.

I watch what is happening all over. There are various news stations and platforms that give out information. Sometimes you only get part of a story so I check others to get it all.
