"If YOU miss SOMEONE, what will YOU do?"

It has been four years that my father passed away. Whenever there is a special occasion in our family, I always missed him. Christmas Eve is special for the family to be together. With this scene, I can't help remembering my old man. The best thing that I could do is to offer prayers and lit candles on his altar.
"How about you, guys?"
"What do you do when missing people close to your heart, alive or not?"

I have not learned to deal with grief. I'm old, my parents have passed away, most of those I loved are gone. It's just very painful for me, but I pray for them, that they've found peace. And hope that someday I will join them again. I'm sorry for the loss of your father. Four years is not so long ago.

@deazil We are rare people in this world. Some people don’t care if their loved ones are no longer here. Sometimes greediness lingered into their spine. That’s what happened to my old man’s siblings. After his burial, they turned to the evil side.

My mom passed away in 2000. Missing her so much. I am grateful to God that she's my mother.

last 24th was my father's birthday, so i and my sister went to the cemetery yesterday and lighted candles, candies, and offered prayers for him and my mother.

@ridingbet I guess your dad is really a loving father. My late father is quite serious and doesn't show his feelings to us. But then, I can feel that he wants good things for his family.

Only thing we can do is remember them and pray for them. My sympathies with you.

I too miss my father very much. He was a popular teacher in a Higher Secondary School, an student leader during his college days and a popular poet of his region. I miss him as a friend and guide and try to help people because thats what my father always did. I am starting a small scholarship in his memory this spring.

I firmly believe they have become my guardian angels sitting on my shoulders ready to slap me on the head when I am about to do something stupid or kiss me on top of the head when I am doing something right!

If I miss someone I 'd prefer to chant for that person's peace and happiness.
