Do I sound GREEDY if I say: "Time is money"?

I am sure some people would say that their time is so precious. It is because they need to earn money for a living. I, myself will admit this real fact of life. My time is to earn money in every class session. I was being paid every 25 minutes per class. The influx of the students online decline these past few weeks. I decided to have a short-term contract in teaching to a Korean Academy and it is daytime scheduled classes.
"What do you think about this phrase?"
"Is time precious to you?"
"Is your time being paid?"

So, that is what you do. You are a teacher.
But no, time is not money. Money is what we use to purchase food and the bare necessities, or even the luxurious disposables. We earn the money through work.
But time, that is one precious blessing leased on us. Time never comes back once it has passed on us. Time cannot be sped up for our pleasure and our whims. Time pass by each second we breathe. How you make use of your time is all up to you.
But no, time is not money.

Yes, I do teach online. How can you earn money without spending time? Would it change your mind if both time and money work hand in hand? If you are going to define the time and money literally. it will precisely have different meanings. Moreover, I respect your opinionated statement about this phrase.

@Acefun Thank you. It had been my advocacy, to right the wrong, to explain the truth, even if it means people get angry and hate me altogether. My way of loving my neighbor.
Alvin Jenn, your kindness precedes you.

Well said @eileenleyva.
Even how busy you are, you still able to find some time to care and respond to the people that need you.
The money that you earn cannot buy back the time and happiness nor sadness that have been passed away.
If that person is important to you and you care about them, please respond to them.
Sometimes, people can bring your fortune too thus relationship is still important.

@Loriejane22 My family and I decided to cut the tie as soon as the inheritance issue is settled. There is no reason for us to be connected to them. They had caused so many troubles and heartaches these past few years.

Of course. Time is money. And besides, if there is no money we cannot have all the essentials we need like food, clothes, water and of course shelter.
Even me, though I am sick I am still working my butt to have money.
A big help for my daily life and for my medication.

Time IS money, and yes, time IS precious. So is money. Most of the things I spend my time with ARE actually an attempt to make money actually. Be it spending time here on MyLot, creating music (some people ACTUALLY buy my music—the original stuff of course), or doing stock research, developing new strategies for savings or doing research to find new ways to earn, writing on my blogs...
It's all designed to maximize earnings and bring more money to the table. Every penny counts and every second matters. It's just how I view things, and I don't think there is anything at all greedy about that.

I can see myself with your perseverance in earning money through different means. At present, I tried so many things to earn money. There is no need to question it. For the reason that I am on the process of securing my future. There is no need to enjoy my life that much. Since I can do it in the future. Moreover, I still can balance my life with other things to feel the satisfaction with people close to my heart.

@porwest You had described it well. I condition myself not to be empty-handed in the future. It needs to have savings in securing things in life. Some of my close friends are questioning me for being workaholic. In time, they will know why I need to do this. Even if I explain things to them, they will not accept my reasons. That's the reason why I don't need to explain myself.

@Shavkat The thing about saving money is that ultimately you wind up being able to afford much more, and incidentally, much more fun stuff. I always say, save as much on the things you need so you can have more to spend on things you want—like vacations for example. Eventually even with a little spending on fun and leisure, you find you typically have more money in the bank you can really spend, and that provides a lot of peace of mind and comfort as well.

As James Taylor says: "time will take your money but money wont buy time". Usually, rich people who wants moreand more money are often accused greedy. Now if you are contented and not obsessed for time to make a lot of money, maybe its not a greediness term.
But if we base on the biblical proverbs, the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. I think theres a lot verse in the bible , try to read #philippians 4:19, matthew 25:14-27.

@Loriejane22 As they said, 'Money is the source of evil.' It is how we handle the money and not the other way around. Some elite people have been controlled with their money. Thus, it showed how greediness they are.

@Loriejane22 A typical example is my late father's siblings. They are so evil that want to have my old man's inheritance.

@Shavkat yes i agree for that, sometimes people tend to be selfish and greedy because they have a strong desire for money.
