How do you feel about Valentine's Day. I myself loved it.Valentine's Day is love. Love with your wife ,husband.etc. We do special things on this day.Going out to dinner. Buy each others flowers candy, etc. Do you do anything for Valentine's Day. the photo is Ms.Ruby with her winter coat.

It's all in what you do about the holiday. My mom used to make us a heart shaped Chocolate cake when we were kids, frosted with more chocolate and then covered with Smarties. I think that Dad thought that it was just for him lol!!

@amadeo Mom just let him think that the cake was for him lol... we didn't care as long as we got some!! I think that I inherited my sweet tooth from him come to think about it!!

We don't do anything special on Valentine's Day, I figure we do special things together all the time, I refuse to do romance on schedule and at a ridiculous price.

@amadeo We did cards at school and was fun but I mean the commercialism of it. Stores promoting buying huge boxes of candy, toys etc.

@amadeo It's an import from the USA. It was never around when we were kids but then commercial interests started pushing it as it was a great excuse to sell chocolates cards, etc.

@amadeo I should clarify my response, I used to love it as a child, exchanging cards and candy and hoping my favorite Valentine would notice me. I meant in my adult life I do not care for the day, it has become so commercialized.

Valentine's day is special for us because we had our first date on Valentine's day

. It was pretty nice, I still remember everything

. I bought an expensive perfume for her, the one I knew she wanted, but when I gave it to her, she said it wasn't the right one. Imagine my shock

. But it turned out to be the right one, we checked it at the perfume shop
