2019 Health Journey ~ Day 39 ~ 2/8/19 & Friday Weigh In

Good evening everyone, another day has come to an end....so I thought I would share my food, sugars, and weigh in.
Weigh in: Since I started on January 1st, I have lost 12.8 pounds!!
FBS: 199?
I worked out today fasted, did an hour of cardio (Zumba)
Burned about 515 calories, according to my Fitbit.
11,173 steps by end of the day!
Meal 1: Green smoothie
about 2 cups of spinach
almond milk (unsweetened)
vanilla protein powder
sweetener
A bit later I had a snack...a meat stick & a cheese stick
BS: 140
Meal 2: A hamburger patty, no bun.
Made some low carb "fry sauce" (reduced sugar ketchup & mayo)
BS: 103
Meal 3: pizza wrap - yes once again! It is just so good, especially when I want to make something quick.
Also had my peanut butter "dessert".
BS: 113
Macros:
Calories: 1,356
Protein: 74
Fat: 109
Carbs: 36
Fiber: 17
Net Carbs: 19
I did okay today food wise, I think....but my sugars were a bit higher than I would like (except for the 103). I think they are higher though because I am sick, currently have a cold.
How are you all doing today? Did you have anything good to eat? Did you get a good workout in?

@MommyOfEli2013 This winter has been tough on my getting to the pool. We've got a lot of snow coming for next week, or at least several days of it, so we'll see if I can make it there every day. I hope so.

Thank you, and my calories were not quite as low I don't think. Thank you, I'm hoping I get over it quick too!
That's good that you think you did good with your food! And that's great that you can get back to the pool on Monday

No workout yesterday. But did some shopping so that still got extra walking in for me.

That's good, extra walking while shopping is great :) If I do a lot of walking while shopping, or if I did extra cleaning I'd probably skip a work out.

I'm still having issues eating breakfast and I need to begin to. I have a Lean Cuisine at 11 am and at 2:30 pm an ice coffee with Stevia and a Three Muskateers. It was my treat day though I should not have since I didn't behave and eat my protein. Tonight I made yellow squash and zucchini and added it to ground turkey. I put some on a Gluten Free tortilla. Tomorrow I'll make sure I eat my eggs soon as I get up.

Sorry you are still having issues with that. I usually don't eat breakfast, I like to intermittent fast. Sounds like a good timing with your food, but if you want to add breakfast that's good. And that meal sounds very healthy!

I hope that your cold will be gone soon my daughters coughed a lot but they don't have fever now.I am having a normal sugar but I have a hypertension as what I mentioned in my previous post but I try to exercise now and feel good again.

Thank you, I am sure it will pass soon. That's good they don't have a fever, that wouldn't be good. Normal sugar is good.....I wish I could have that! And that's good to hear about exercising and feeling good
