Destiny: Do you believe it or not?

A lot of people say: "Don't worry... The destiny is written."
Sometimes I listen to someone talk everything that is yours will find a way to reach you.
However, I particularly don't believe 100% in this because I think that if the person doesn't move to deserve what is to win, things won't simply fall from the sky.
I mean, it's a very big mistake to think that everything will happen like magic... Or, am I being too radical in this thought?

I believe that if you make a effort of what you really wanted then destiny will happen.i think it needs a hard work too.

I forgot to say it in my response, work and more work, under the blessing of God, to get where you want to go.

No, I agree with you. God blesses our efforts, but we have to do our part at times.

I believe the real big things are predestined but most of it will depend on what we do or don't do and circumstances that come our where we have no control.

I do believe in destiny. But for day to day things, it is our karma that should be our guide through our journey.

I think you are right on in thinking that way. I don't believe in destiny. I do believe that God knows everything that is going to happen, but he gave us free will and it's up to us to go after the things rather than just seeing if they fall upon us regardless of our actions.

If destiny were a thing, then it would not matter what we did. So, that would make our choices insignificant wouldn’t it?

I guess there isn't an absolute truth about whether destiny exists or not. Nonetheless, I love thinking that there's a destiny that is laid out on a table like a map, and it is up to us to draw the right path on that map, or the wrong one.

I do not know if for the man of the world who moves alone, in his own way and governed by his own thoughts luck, magic, artifices of the world, the so-called destiny controls his existence. But particularly as a man of God, a Christian, a reader of the Bible, I do not trust those things. I am a man believer of YHVH GOD and his Word and I am convinced that the light of his Spirit guides my walk. And, on the other hand, I believe that man was given the ability to make decisions and those decisions naturally have consequences, they take him to a place and a situation. So, to conclude, for me destiny, in the good sense of the word, the arrival, the goal, is guided by God and the decisions I make and not by luck, by magic and artifices such as astrology, etc. .

I agree with you. We don't know what our destiny is, but if we work hard we will find out.

I believe in it... Accept the road that was shown to you. Follow the path that is ahead of you.. Accept the risks and challenges that was given to you.. all of it leads to who will you become.
