I am not sure we earn when people exchange discussion interacting with each other. This is the reason why some users are against this practice. Let's say it's like going to visit a friend, enter her house and then discuss with the other guest without even exchanging a world with the house owner.

@allknowing Some users do not care to interact with the one who wrote the discussion, this is rude. I am not against if the users also interacted with me before starting to discuss between them.

@LadyDuck I agree with you. For me it is the correct way to interact

@id_peace If the interaction does not interest the OP wonder how it will pan out

Can you not join in with the conversation? I hope you get a cent for each reply they make!

Diversification is the name of the game - nothing to do with the discussion (lol)

@garymarsh6 The one who comments will not earn but the one who receives the comment earns.

Yes you will earn something.
The reason I know this is because I normally only have one discussion up at a time so I know to a very high probability where the fractions of cents are coming from.
Some time last year I did a discussion about my neighbours.
After a few days of no activity on there some people got to talking amongst themeselves...nothing really to do with the discuasion and I didn't participate but over the next days my bank went up a fraction.
I had done nothing else on mylot so am pretty sure the money came from that discussion.

Sometimes I have seen this as well and have wondered the same thing.

You certainly earn something when people comment in your discussion without you yourself doing anything apart from posting the discussion because it is an 'interaction' under something you posted. I don't believe that it's very much, however. According to a number of tests certain people have done in the past, it would appear than a unique 'view' might count as an 'interaction', so if another member merely opens the page, that may count for a small amount.

It would have been nice if we knew how we earn here.

@allknowing It would ruin the site if we knew that. People would cheat.

One of them must have commented on your post in the first place, I don't think there is any other way to get a comment on the page. And then all the other replies are responses to that original comment on your post, so I think they all count for you.

I think all of you earn when there are conversations going on in the course of your discussion.

I'd think we earn something but it will probably be so small we won't even notice the difference in the bank.

@allknowing JJ is probably right. He's pretty keen around here on how all this stuff works. I think he stealthily works for MyLot, but he would deny that all day long...wouldn't you @myklj999?

We earn anyway if just only interact among participants inside the someone's else discussion, but is ethical and fair that the first action must be to respond the host, who is propossing the discussion for us to participate in.

But there are situations where two or more interact among themselves and the one whose discussion it is does not take part in that interaction and in that eventuality I wonder whether the one whose discussion it is benefits from that interaction.

@allknowing Yes that use to happen, I think is probably the discussion's owner should at least to earn too, because such interacting is on going inside his or her post
