A comedy show and dinner

Friday I picked my boyfriend up at his house and we went to a comedy show / dinner. This was the first time I had ever been to one so I was so excited.
The food was very bland but they had some little desserts I enjoyed.
One of my exes walked in with one of my boyfriends exes and I thought it was too funny to not motion for them to join us. The girl wanted nothing to do with that though so they say by some people she knew. My ex kept coming to chat with us since he and the girl were not hitting it off at all. He is really funny so we had a good time joking around with him.
The comedians were not very funny really. The first guy was so boring and dragged it out to long what he was doing trying to get us to make a beat by clapping, knocking and slapping our legs to guess the song.
The next guy was African American so this jokes were mostly about being a black man. He was slightly funnier.
The third comedian was a transgender woman who looked a long time at her paper before telling us really dull stories about her “dating” life. Some people got up and left at that point.
She did however mention the same thing I asked my boyfriend about a half
hour before... why there are two stalls in the woman’s bathroom with no divider. It’s been like that for years and years and no one I ask knows why. You can see what I mean in the photo I posted.
The last comedian was the funniest but really he was just kind of mean and very negative about everything. He is someone I could not be around very long with him saying things like depression isn’t real and how he hates this person and that person.
After it was over around 10:30 I drove my boyfriend home and showered. As tired as I was it took me until about 1:30 to fall asleep.

Too bad the show was disappointing. The last comedy show I went to was Roseanne Barr. That was years ago..She was kind of funny, but she did a really short set.

@snowy22315 I would have expected her to be really funny. That's cool you got to watch her set in person ever if it was short and not as funny as you expected.
Even though the show I saw wasn't that funny it was funny getting out.

@bunnybon7 he was really crazy I would never want to be back with him but chatting with him when I run into him I can handle.

@shaggin sometimes we enjoy seeing an ex, even though it didn't work out we can be friends for short periods of time. Just have to keep reminding ourselves of what they did to cause the break up. sometimes they can be great friends.

I never been to a comedy show. I hardly watch the comedy network. My mother tries to get me to watch, or listen to some comedy on her phone. There aren't any really funny comedians anymore.

@Jessy3236 most the jokes are all just picking on others in some way. Not really anything I find funny in that.

That is so odd! Why is there no divider!? Someone needs to find out and let me know, lol.

@Courtlynn I am going to have to make a post on Facebook asking if anyone knows the reason why there are two toilets in the women's room like this.
The last guy was describing a girl with the same name as me who was depressed and cut herself and listened to Alanis Morissette music. He summed me up as a teen except depression is real!

Sounds like an evening that did not turn out to be very funny. I hate it if I have to listen to comedians who are just not funny. That bathroom sounds strange and I would not be comfortable going there.

@RasmaSandra well you can lock the door and be the only one using the restroom so it's no big deal it having two toilets you don't have to share it. If one toilet is dirty you can use the other one.
Even if the comedy show wasn't very funny it was still fun to get out with my boyfriend.
